Download Game From Eshop Error

Download Code is Lost or Missing[edit]

Download Game From Eshop Error

Problem: You receive an error when redeeming a download code 'The download code is lost or stolen'.

Fix: Confirm that you entered in the 16 digit code correctly, making sure you haven't already redeemed it on other consoles. Go back to the retail store in which you got the code and explain your problem (Make sure you have your receipt with you!).

This Code Has Already Been Used[edit]

Splatoon 2 has officially launched, but already the game is struggling right out of the gates. It appears that the Nintendo eShop has completely crashed, rendering players unable to even purchase. I understand that this game should take several hours to download, but mine is not downloading to begin with. Edit: I tried the 'download later' option and left the 3DS in sleep mode for a bit. Every time i try to download any eshop download, it starts of with 4 jewels than stops out of no where only to display the error 007-2913. For Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo Switch, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'SD card reads all games fine. Tried a different micro sd card so that you can rule out your current micro sd card as having a problem? Users in a similar situation have discovered that whenever the eShop is down with this particular error, you can still prompt your console to download a game by visiting the web version of the store listing.

Nintendo Eshop List Of Games

Problem: You don't have the option to add funds through Wii U Prepaid cards.

Fix: Make sure your Wii U is set to the right region. Bear in mind, Wii U Prepaid Cards are only available in United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Club Nintendo Link Freezes[edit]

Problem: The eShop freezes after entering your Club Nintendo information.

Fix: Make sure you typed your username and password correctly. If that doesn't work, try linking your account later, the servers may just be under a heavy load.

Don't Worry! Any purchases made before linking your account will still be counted towards your Club Nintendo coin total at the time of registering.

General Problems with Download Games/Applications[edit]

Problem: When downloading a game or an application, freezing and error messages occur.

Fix: Delete the software from the Data Management menu in System Settings, and then re-download it. Launch the game again to see if the problem still persists. If errors occur before a download begins, try rebooting the system, shutting it off completely before turning it back on again.

Download Code is Damaged or Illegible
[edit]

Problem: Retailer code is illegible or the receipt has been damaged.

Fix: Try the common numbers that can be mistakened. Try all the different combinations you can think of (for example a 5 can look like a 2). However, if the code has been damaged beyond repair, you will need to go back to the retailer with (what's left of) the receipt in hand and explain your problem.
